After practicing law for 10 years, Andrea Bosquez-Porter started her own firm in 2020. Her goal was to open a practice that focused on compassion and service. She is a Board Certified Family Law Specialist (2015 to Present), making her one of the 1.1% of lawyers in North Carolina to hold this certification.

Her experience working with victims of domestic violence informs how she works with her clients. As a mother of two herself, she understands how challenging situations can affect families and require her involvement. That’s why she became a certified Family Financial Settlement Mediator, as well as a certified Parenting Coordinator.

It is important to her to provide her clients with the highest-quality legal services possible, in English or Spanish. This includes educating her peers - Andrea frequently speaks at conferences and teaches continuing legal education courses on a range of family law topics for both attorneys and paralegals. In addition to her legal practice, Andrea is actively involved in her community. A resident of Raleigh since 2010, Andrea makes it a priority to give back to the people around her. She has consistently volunteered for the North Carolina Bar Association 4All Service Day, even serving as a Site Coordinator. She has served on the Tenth Judicial District Grievance Committee and the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Court Custody Mediation Advisory Committee (2014 – Present).
